Training

INDIANA : As of January 1, 2010, all employee and volunteer permit holders in the state of Indiana are required to attend a certified server training program.

Adult servers shall complete an approved training course within 120 days of applying for their permit.
Restricted permits (ages 19 & 20) require training prior to serving.
NOTE: Restricted servers must be supervised (on-site) by a person 21 years or older who has a current trainng certificate.

LCSI provides ATC-approved training by certified instructors. Classes are offered as either an open (public invited) or a semi-private (invitaiton-only) session. Private sessions require a business sponsor and a minimum of 10 trainees pre-paid.

Course content includes:

- Legal responsibilities and liabilities of a server in the State of Indiana
- Recognize valid ID documents
- Refuse false or altered ID
How alcohol affects the body
Signs of intoxication Responsible serving
When and how to refuse service
